About
Tiffani collaborated with Skywall at ARCH:ID 2026 to present Symbiotic Lumina, an installation rooted in the idea of the “Synthesis Schema”—where architecture is approached as a living, collaborative ecosystem rather than a static structure. Developed in collaboration with Skywall, designed by Highstreet, and supported by Nurco Lighting and Carta, the booth moved away from conventional boundaries and instead explored the interplay between two contrasting materials: the structural resilience of polycarbonate and the soft, organic expression of Tiffani textiles. Through a series of flowing curves and sculptural forms, the installation revealed how even the most rigid materials can feel fluid and alive when paired with the artistry of textile draping.
The spatial experience was further enhanced by a careful orchestration of light and material. Warm, ambient illumination filtered through layered surfaces, blurring the line between interior and exterior while unifying textures and scales into a cohesive atmosphere. More than a visual showcase, Symbiotic Lumina invited visitors into a co-creative journey—reframing materials not as isolated elements, but as bridges for collaboration. In doing so, the installation expressed a vision of design that is not only functional, but also emotional, sustainable, and deeply memorable.
